Ozzie is now in his fourth year at the Academy of Arms.  After having successfully completed all necessary requirements, he was elevated to full Instructor status and currently teaches classes in the Novice and Apprentice curricula.

In addition to teaching, Ozzie is a team captain for the foot combat demonstrations at the Tournament of the Phoenix.  For his presentations, he selects techniques directly from medieval manuscripts that describe the German fighting system known as Kunst des Fechtens.  Prior to his interest in medieval combat, Ozzie studied Kung Fu, Jeet Kune Do and Kendo.

Outside the Academy of Arms; Ozzie is an IT Consultant, writes screenplays, and works on movie sets as a Script Supervisor.  Ozzie enjoys team sports and has served as a volunteer coach for several community soccer and basketball teams.  He has also volunteered his time at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum hospital where he gave critical care to injured and abandoned animals. Ozzie has studied Mechanical Engineering, holds a BS degree in Biology and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in network/computer systems.
